Why are people so silent about racism and where they stand on the issue?

Chris Weber, former basketball player now analyst, said, “It’s not about the words of your enemies but the silence of your friends,” regarding innocent Black Lives being taken. I agree. The worse part about all of this are my white friends who smile in my face, try to convince me that they care, then stab me in the back with their silence and vote. What’s happening?
